Hayley Moyses and The Bluegrass Forum was formed in late Autumn of 2006. It was down to Hayley and her brother Sean (www.seanmoyses.com), organising a pickin session at a pub just outside of Norwich that led some old  and some new friends to get together and share the music that they all love. It was from that night they decided to get a project on the road to play bluegrass music.

The material that Hayley Moyses & Bluegrass Forum are performing is the progressive bluegrass sounds from the likes of Alison Krauss & Union Station and Nickel Creek .  Also non bluegrass artists who have inspired them in the past are  Avril Lavigne , Joni Mitchel , Sting , Lynyrd Skynyrd , Oasis and John Travolta & Olivia Newton John . They are also performing traditional breakdowns and fiddle tunes , while Justin  has re-arranged and  added a few twists on some old favourite fiddle tunes.Hayley and Justin have been very busy writing new material for the band to perform, currently they have written four original songs and they will be recording them soon. So watch this space!!

Hayley Moyses and The Bluegrass Forum are happy playing at any music venues from Bluegrass festivals to Folk festivals , Art Centers and Theatres . Between the band they have many  years experience performing  in the music world .

Hayley and The Bluegrass Forum have just recorded a selection of three songs and three fiddle tunes which have been added to the web site . The recordings will be used for promoting the talents of the band. The Band have two videos on www.youtube.com  . Please have a look and feel free to leave any feedback/comments to the videos.
